Those who are more familiar with MAF (Mission Aviation Fellowship) know that there’s more to it than just an aviation service. MAF is made up of Christian professionals from all over the world, supported by individuals and churches to “share God’s love through aviation and other technologies”. Pilots and staff living and operating in Arnhem Land participate in local Christian ministry in various ways. The “Homeland Outreach” is one of them.
Simply put, Technology Services include activities, which support the use of technology in ministry. This means that when a MAF staff member helps someone load the Bible onto their mobile phone, repairs the church computer, sets up a network, consults and supports the use of technology in ministry they are providing an extension towards the purpose of MAF.
